Carnival is one of the most important and exciting events in Venice that you must experience at least once in your life.
This year it will take place from January 27th to February 13th. It is from the 3rd of February that we can enjoy the main festivities and admire the costumes in the streets. A Carnival known all over the world for its sublime masks and outfits.
This year, Venice Carnival celebrates one of its greatest travelers with the theme "Marco Polo's incredible journey". It's up to you to dress up with creativity and elegance!
It will take place between Saint Mark's Square, the Arsenale Basin and the various palaces of the city. You will be able to enjoy magnificent shows, water parades, mask competitions, balls, etc. A real pleasure for the eyes!

THE NICE CARNIVAL: THE GREAT FESTIVAL OF THE CÔTE D'AZUR
This year, the Nice Carnival will take place from February 17th to March 3rd under the theme "King of Pop Culture". A perfect opportunity to share an unforgettable family outing.
The Carnival will start on the Masséna square and during these 15 days of festivities, Nice will live to the rhythm of carnival parades, illuminated corsos and flower battles.
Numerous floats will parade to the rhythm of art troupes and musical groups from all over the world who will enliven the route by offering you a real spectacle of sound and light. All this in a colourful, festive and family atmosphere.
In the evening, all the floats will be lit up and the parade will illuminate the heart of the city.
You will enjoy a magnificent show of colours and original costumes! An unmissable event on the Côte d'Azur not to be missed!

RIO CARNIVAL: THE BIGGEST CARNIVAL IN THE WORLD
This festive period will take place in Rio from 9th to 17th February for the main parades and the parade of champions will take place on Saturday 17th February.
For five days, the city is filled with celebration, joy and glitter. You will be seduced by the magnificent competitions between the samba schools, their sublime costumes, the balls and their gigantic floats! Each float tells a story or illustrates a societal or political fact. Denouncing racism, highlighting Afro-Brazilian culture and history...
The parades are divided into three categories:
1) Access group: You will see 12 samba schools competing with each other to offer parades with drums and songs in a great atmosphere. At the end of the parade the champion will be chosen and the best samba schools will be able to participate in the special group the following year.
2) Special Group: This is the most spectacular parade of the Carnival. The 14 best samba schools of Rio will show their creativity and beauty during The Extraordinary Nights of the Sambodrome.
3) Parade of Champions: This is an exceptional evening to see the Carnival champions of the year. On this night, the 6 best schools of the special group and the champion of the access group will repeat their performances.
Carnival is a unique moment to visit Brazil and the city of Rio in a remarkable atmosphere to the rhythm of the samba.
