Hôtel des Deux Rocs

An enchanting hotel in a hilltop setting, led by a young and talented team. Julie and Nicolas shar time in the compagny of the greats: Paul Bocuse, Michel Troisgros, Michel Guérard. But what’s spécial is that this is a refined yet intimate affair, bursting with personality and family friendliness. Expect polished antiques, portrats of noble heads along the stairway, 17th-century sedan chairs, exquisité fabrics on 18th-century chair, a well-traveled suitcase here and there. Bathrooms are with porcelain basins, rescued vintage fittings, roll top tubs… perfection ; bedrooms are all generously different, all delighful. Hard to choose between the room with the red and white checked Pierre Frey fabrics or the « toy soldier » theme in bold red and blue. Some overlook the valley, others the wide splendid terrace with a cinematographic view. Under the plane trees candlelit tables are set with small bouquets of rose, lilac and hortensia …
