Château de La Barre invites you to enjoy a unique experience over the New Year with its special offer "Celebrate an aristocratic New Year 2024 in the Loire Valley".

THE PROGRAMME

1) Saturday 30th December :

- Welcome at Château de la Barre with champagne.

- Afternoon tea with the Comtesse de Vanssay.

- Private tour of the château by the Comte de Vanssay

- Buffet dinner with cheese and wine tasting.

- A blind tasting competition takes place, with the winner receiving a bottle of champagne.

- Billiards / Home cinema film.

2) Sunday 31st December:

- Breakfast/brunch.

- Morning walk in the château grounds.

- Free visit of the medieval town of Le Mans with its lively Christmas market.

- Tea.

- New Year's Eve gala dinner.

- Champagne tasting in the grand salon.

- Giant Cluedo.

3) Monday 1st January:

- Visit to the famous Château de Chenonceau (optional private guided tour: additional cost).

- Visit to the 40 replicas of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions in his house: Clos Lucé.

- Renaissance lunch (additional cost).

- Dinner at Château de la Barre: champagne tasting (smoked salmon, foie gras and blinis, sorbets).

4) Tuesday 2nd January:

- Private tour of Château de Cheverny (additional cost).

- Gourmet lunch at the Orangerie restaurant on the way back (not included).

- Visit to the Max Vauché chocolate factory.

- Private visit to the Château de Chambord followed by a champagne reception in the hunting room (additional cost).

5) Wednesday 3rd January (departure):

- Hearty brunch.

- Special New Year's gift from your hosts.

* Minimum 2-night stay, either on 30th and 31st, or 31st and 1st January (possibility of adding one or two days).

Price: from €2,180 for 2 people sharing a room, including 2 nights' accommodation with breakfast and brunch, a wine-tasting dinner or a saumer, foie gras and champagne dinner, plus the Gala dinner on 31 December with champagne, wine and giant Cluedo.

Extras :
- VIP private tour of the Château de Chambord with champagne reception (€750 for a maximum of 4 people, €1,400 for a maximum of 5 to 10 people)
- Private Renaissance lunch in the priory of Leonardo da Vincis, at €2,800 based on 10 guests
- Transfers with driver or throughout the trip
- Restaurants are not included as the price depends on what guests order.
